The Jacksonville, Florida facility opened in April 2020 by the governance of the state to be the only COVID-19 post-acute facility in Florida. HNI was the only group providing medical services from April to August 2020.

Even though these were unprecedented times, HNI’s proven practices and protocols resulted in a readmissions rate far below the national average — despite the population's severity of illness.
